Plans of Tsushima Class Cruisers

These plans show the Tsushima class protected cruisers of 1902, the second class of cruisers built to a Japanese design. They were armd with six 6in guns in single turrets, two on the centre line and four in sponsons on the next deck down, giving her a broadside of four guns to either side. Both fought in the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-5. The Niitaka was lost in a typhoon in 1922, the Tsushima survived to serve as a training ship during the Second World War.
